"We had an excellent stay. All of the staff we spoke to were super friendly and polite. The room was lovely, and the staff had gone to the extra effort to decorate for my partners birthday, which was a really nice surprise for him. We enjoyed using the spa, the bar and the breakfast buffet. It was a perfect base for exploring the local area, and somewhere we could come back and relax in the evenings. All for a very reasonable rate, would stay again. "

"Really amazing stay for the price! Peter is kind, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. The locals are fun. Cook your own breakfast is incredible. My dog, Donnie, has really settled in and felt it was like home. Can’t fault it at all!!! Plus an amazing bonfire night set up by all the lovely staff working here! "Great hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Small things make all the difference and the experience was consistent all through the hotel. From a personable arrival at reception, giving me all the relevant info (last orders, gym opening times etc), friendly gym staff and great customer service and meal in the restaurant. I forgot my tooth paste and the lovely lady at the desk (apologies didn’t get name) gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste. I also didn’t know how to find the gym and she walked me there. Really made me feel valued as a guest. So much so, I enquired about the cost of the conference room for the day as hold quarterly business meetings with a small uk team who stay over the night before and have a full day meeting. I’ll be putting this hotel forwards as a suggestion for a future meeting. I work in sales and so stay in a lot of hotels weekly, all over the Uk. This is the first time staying here and is already in my top 5 hotels. Particularly love the gym and pool facilities which is what often draws me to picking hotels. Thanks Marriot Preston team!
