Very strange room quite large with a very small double bed not as wide or long as a standard double Room was in the basement and you would not want to spend anytime in there other than to sleep. Staff helpful and we could check in early and location was good as you could walk to everywhere in Halifax. Ok if you just need a bed for the night as we did but not if you wanted to spend a weekend away and the hotel was part of the experience

Great central location close to shops, bars and restaurants. Room was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable. Tea & coffee in the room. Toiletries provided. Close to the piece hall for concerts. Let us check in a little earlier as the room was ready.

Good sized room, very centrally located next to shops, restaurants, and transport. The hotel is a little dated but it was very clean. The staff were all lovely and really make you feel welcomed.

Firstly location is great as very central - easy reach of train and bus stations, shops etc. Staff friendly and informative. Room was very clean and had a fan, tea and coffee. Furnishings are dated but serviceable. Bed was very comfortable with soft pillows. Bit of a rabbit warren getting to room up and down stairs. There is a lift but it's slow. Would stay again as such a great location.
