"Our family stayed for 2 days in hopes of hiking in the nearby national park for a view of what Hobbit fans would call Mount Doom. Your house was a nice cozy setting in a nice neighborhood. This was a good location for the Tongariro Crossing which we completed during our stay and the river walks were great too. The drive back to Taupo was scenic and so the distance was not really an issue."
