  • Lovely family home close to Tongariro River and town centre. Local walks all accessible by foot, Lake Taupo and Mountain within 35 minutes. Easy drive to Taupo for a day out. Your hosts are just through the gate and happy to help. Turangi has a great New World Supermarket, Greengrocers, bookshop, library and Chemist so no need to leave the area. Try our cafes. Home has great back yard, trees and birds. Garden setting. Enjoy house and surrounding area. Comfortable style and well equipped. Shuttle for Tongariro Crossing can pick up from door. Ask about our special deals for skiers / trampers / fishing groups.

    We are priced very reasonably to reflect the fact that we are not lake or river side. Our region has plenty to offer and seasonal changes are distinct and beautiful.

Very comfortable house. Very quiet and easy to find. We had no trouble getting in. Very close to Licorice cafe, a great spot for breaky.

Half way stop off

Turangi is a good half way stop to Auckland and this house was easy to find, close to shops and was comfortable for all the family to stay.

Break Away

My family and i had a stop over on our way back to Wellington from Northland. Perfect, clean and magnificent gardens, highly recommended. Next time we might have to stay a few extra nights, it has everything you need even a highchair for the littlies

Lovely and cozy house

It was our first friendship trip with bach and we loved so much and agreed that we shall comeback regularly! House is nice, cozy and warm clean. The kitchen was fully stacked so that you didn't need to worry about cooking. Full of entertainment, Turangi is lovely place to stay longer.

The house is perfect and so comfy. Has everything you need. Close to the shopping centre. Would definitely stay here again but for longer. Great communication with the owners who are lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was so beautifully presented and the beds were very comfortable. We were impressed how clean it was and really appreciated the cozy warm fire. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here while attending a wedding near by, had everything we needed, lovely food hamper left out for our arrival and fire was ready to go, excellent place for 8 people to stay comfortably, would highly recommend

Great place to stay. The hosts are brilliant to deal with, the house is clean and very comfortable. So nice to have beds made and towels provided. Great outdoor area and securely fenced. Thank you!

The property's location is excellent within Turangi town and is easy to find. The property is maintained to a reasonably good standard and has a homely feel to it. We only stayed 1 night, but the property can easily support longer stays as it is well stocked with condiments and utensils for cooking. The property worked well for our group of 8. We would happily return to the property for a stay in the future, if it was still available for stays.

This is such a beautifully cosy property! 😍 we just loved all the extra homely touches from the sign on the door to the fresh milk in the fridge! Communication with the owners was awesome. We so appreciated your kindness during this stressful time for our family!!

Fantastic place to stay

I was first to arrive and was absolutely blown away, a welcoming sign on the door, heat pump was on so on a cold night it was toasty warm. Lots of wood for the fire. A gift basket on the table and some supplies in the fridge, and celery and parsley in the garden - these people are amazing. The house itself is well set up and so comfortable, not far for a nice walk along the river or to the shops. I will definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Turangi

One of the best houses we have stayed at in Turangi. Super clean and comfortable with lots of little touches (like fluffy towels) that made a difference. Great off street parking for the boat and secure for our small dog. Special thanks to Clint for going the extra mile and putting extra palings on the fence for us to keep small dogs safe.
