Centretown Hotels, Ottawa

"Everything about our stay was great. The hotel was busy because of Winterlude, but it never felt crowded. We enjoyed the pool, small sauna, hot tub and ping-pong in the games room. The rooms haven’t been updated décor-wise, but we actually found that nostalgic (hello, corded phone beside the toilet 😄). The beds were very comfortable, and the suite was spotless. Having a kitchenette was a real bonus since we have dietary restrictions and it saves having to eat out for every meal. I unfortunately forgot my Goldilocks pillow in the room and only realized once I was back home in Toronto, but the front desk staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and arranged to have it mailed to me. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Ottawa! "

"The staff were so friendly and accommodating from check-in, the parking, and the lounge. The room was spotless and had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We found the room was too hot, but adjusted the thermostat to our comfort level. The only complaint I really would have is the additional "sustainability fees" of $14.99 plus HST / night (These should be included in the price of the hotel). The parking I felt was expensive at $30.00 plus HST/night but when you look at other hotels and their parking fees, it is quite reasonable or on par to other hotels. I would stay here again. Close to so many amenities that were in walking distance. We parked the car and just walked everywhere."

"The hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes walk from the Confederation Park and Rideau Canal where the Winterlude Festival was held. The room was modern, clean and spacious. It had 2 queen sized beds and a very large bathroom. Initially we thought parking would be a problem because the hotel was located in downtown Ottawa. It turned out that street parking was free overnight. Overall, my family and I had a pleasant stay and would recommend to anyone traveling to Ottawa for sightseeing."
