"We had a lovely time here! We were travelling by public transport, and this spot is a little of out of the way, but they sent a shuttle to the train station and it was easy to arrive. It was not clear from their website that the restaurant would not be open for dinner, and the closest restaurant by foot (other than McDonald's) was a 30 minute walk away. That was no problem; we had a nice walk, a great dinner, and really loved the onsen!"

"Amazing stay! Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, the shuttle was very convenient. Tattoo friendly as the onsens are booked for 45 minute private sessions. Worth the splurge if you’re travelling on a bit of a budget."

"I went here as a single traveller with little to Japanese language skills and found it amazing. Though the staff had limited English, everything was communicated well and I felt very welcomed and comfortable. It’s very close to all the main attractions of Nara, but out of the way enough to where you’re not surrounded by people all the time. If I ever go back to Nara, I will certainly stay here again. "
