"This was our first time staying at Surfsand. Staff was super friendly and room decor was well great. Only knock was that crews were painting the facility. We were a little shocked and the heart rate went up when we someone climbed over railing and onto our balcony to paint. We should have been made aware that that was a possibility. Still would stay here again"

"Guests have to leave cars down by the office. Rooms on hills so it’s walkable to your car but it’s uphill back to your room so you have to take the shuttle. It’s kind of a pain just to get something out of your car. Great beach! Jose our driver of the shuttle was great too!"

"There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and some of the tile on the floor had no grout. The parking is terrible. I will no longer use Expedia. The bill from the hotel was almost $100 less than the charge from Expedia. I called Expedia, but they said that was their commission. WOW"
