"Except for an elevator that needed repairs, this was a delightful property right on the beach. In the harbor area, I think it was one of only a few in Brookings that could claim they were on the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, had a lovely balcony with beach/ocean view. We left the slider open to hear the waves all night. It's a large property with 4 buildings, so the breakfast room was large and spacious with plentiful options. The breakfast attendant kept everything well supplied and the table and serving areas clean. Perfect for beach walks at low tide with another area to park and walk on the beach right down the road. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Service by Adobe Resort above and beyond the call of duty. A++ for those people. For some reason, the customer in the adjacent room hung their curtains outside the window on a very windy stormy night. The wind repeatedly slapped the curtains against our window, keeping me away from 2:00 AM till 4:00 AM, I responded to an earlier text from the staff asking how our stay was going by mentioning this situation--fully expecting a response and support at the earliest the following morning. Within 15 minutes, however, a staff member responded and attempted to call the customer. At 4:00 AM they knocked on the customer's door to remedy the issue. "

"This is definitely an older establishment but you just can't beat the amazing view! The appliancesay be old, but the bed is comfy, the shower is hot and the staff is friendly. And you aren't going to find a better price for such an amazing view. If you are looking for a 5 (or even 4 star) luxury hotel... This is not it. But if you are looking for a nostalgic place with everything you need for a relaxing stay with a beautiful view. You can't go wrong."
