"The location of this property is amazing! Being able to step out your front door onto Piccadilly Circus is worth the small inconveniences that come with a hotel room that is stripped back to basics. The bathroom situation suits couples, but isn’t ideal for a scenario where the people sharing a room aren’t romantically involved. We were also disappointed that we could only have 1 pillow on each bed (requested a second but denied because they didn’t have enough)."

"Trhe Gresham Hotel is a very short walk from the Tube and the train, and the British Museum, which was a plus, and it was the cheapest private room I could find in late May on 2 days notice, which is why I booked it. The staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. My room was upstairs (no lift), quiet (faced the back). The mattress was firm, the linens and towels clean, no odor from the pillows. There is no mini-fridge, shared microwave, nor dishes. The sink in the bedroom was clean. The windows were opened for cooling, there were no screens, but I experienced no bugs. The rug was heavily stained, but well-vacumned. There was an empty cocktail can under my bed, when I arrived. These things did not bother me. The bathrooms did. The shared bathrooms (2 per floor) contain a shower and a toilet, no sink. The toilets flush inadequately, and the toillet tanks fill so slowly, that every other day I would find 'something' still in the toilet when I came to use it. The showers did not run out of hot water; the flow from the shower head is low, but adequate. My primary issue is that bthe athroom floors appear to be linoleum over spongy wood, with grimy and missing caulking at the edges -- it just feels dirty. As a single traveler, who doesn't have alot of money, there's a reasonable chance I will come back; however I would not book this place for as a couple, unless I was very sure my partner wouldn't get ick-ed out by the bathrooms and rugs."

"Great location for the price and location The hotel needs a bit of maintenance and not having a kettle or iron in the room is a bit of a challenge IMO. However if you need a bed in the city, this was perfect. I would stay again, but honestly a kettle and iron in the room would go a long way"
