"This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Royal Park Hotel, first time was about 10 years ago. The location was so convenient to the indoor market, 7 Eleven, Family mart and restaurants literally around the corner, Subway was a short walk away. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. I had forgotten my wallet in the safe when I checked out and the hotel kindly emailed me to inform me, which I’m utterly grateful for their kindness and looking after my wallet 😊 I would highly recommend and definitely return if I ever visit Kyoto again."

"We went for the Gion festival and this hotel was located in the perfect spot. It is also connected to the Shijokawaramachi station so it was easy to get around."

"This was an amazing place to stay for our Kyoto visit! Perfectly located close to all the beautiful spots in the Gion area and everything you could need within walking distance. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff were top notch! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely stay at this hotel, beautiful room with a great view, nice public bath in the basement, very helpful and friendly staff. Only negative is that there is only 1 washing machine available to males (2 for females) but as there were no females in our group there was a long way to use the washing machine. Would definitely stay again."
