"This hotel is luxury and grace of a bygone era! From the brick turnaround to the smilingly helpful uniformed doormen to the elegant lobby and puffy down comforters, it is THE REAL DEAL. We had a large king room with two windows we could open and a city view. Shower was GREAT! We went to The Top of the Mark one night and listened to a crooner sing all the Sinatra/Bennett oldies while octogenarian couples waltzed and tangoed the night away. AND the hotel is right on two Cable Car lines!"

"Wow!! What a find!!! Location, location, location. There are cable car tracks at either end of the street. Such fun to catch those and also to see them full of people and hear the cable car bells ringing. I could walk everywhere and I did. Buena Vista for Irish Coffee at Fisherman’s Wharf, SOMA for movies, North Beach for Italian food, Chinatown for Chinese food, and restaurants right around the corner.
