They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. With its multiple beautiful outdoor spaces, this B&B works just as well for a family as it does for a family reunion! We just loved it. "

"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations"

"Einmalige Unterkunft, sympathische Gastgeber! Ein kleines Juwel in Dordrecht mit traumhaft schönen Garten und einem Sitzplatz fürs Frühstück in der Sonne. Das Frühstück wird mit Liebe gemacht und auf einem kleinen Rollwagen am Morgen vor die Türe gestellt. Der Kaffee von der neuen Kaffeemaschine ist göttlich und das Frühstück selbst ist ein Traum. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch und geben einem Tips zu dem wunderschönen Dordrecht. Die Schlafqualität in dem grossen Bett ist optimal....

"This place is in a beautiful location. The only drawback would be that you really need a car to get there. The owner will send you the directions because google maps is all wrong. There is a very nice restaurant 150 meters from the B&B located on the water."

"This property was beautiful and perfect for our family. It gave us space to share meals as well as having our own bedrooms. The owner was delightful - very friendly and helpful. The steps are very steep, however, which is typical of Dutch properties so be mindful if this is going to be a problem for you. The house is easily accessible and within walking distance to Schiedam as well as shops and dining options. We used a taxi from the train station. Can’t wait to be back and to stay here...

"Loved our loft room with a view of the windmill. Hope you didn’t bring heavy luggage cause the view is amazing but the stairs with heavy luggage might be a challenge for some. Not bad without luggage. Built in 1650’s you see the original rafters through out the stairwell. Great central location. Parking is offsite."

"My wife and I found this place in the middle of a week long trip around the Netherlands and Luxumbourg. This place immediately stood out because it was different (a yacht) and that it had the Maria Callas theme. We really enjoyed the ambience and the fascinating history of (what is now) Willem's yacht. "Leider kam ich nicht ins Appartment, da der Serl-Checkin nicht funktionierte und ich vor der Tür stand. Leider fehlte in der Beschreibung die Info, dass der Self-Checkin nach 22 Uhr nicht mehr möglich ist. Also Achtung, war eine unangenehme Erfahrung mitten in der Nacht ohne Appartment dazustehen. Nun habe ich auch noch langatmige Diskussionen mit dem Vermieter, dass das Geld erstattet wird. Den Kurzurlaub hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt."
