"Excellent comfy and friendly hotel. Service excellent. The hotel itself is a little tired. It is closing a the end of the season for two years major refurbishment. I do hope they don’t alter the ambience or try to cater for the.masses. The people who stay there as it islquiet, a bit old fashioned and serves an excellent fresh local food. Thank goodness it’s not like a gastro pub with rooms! The views are magnificent even in the rain. Lovely walks and a few mountains to climb."

"Me and my friend stayed for the NC500. A really fantastic family run hotel with great food and great selection of drinks in the bar. A really quiet and relaxing environment both in the room, dining room and bar. The dining room opens up onto a really good view of a lake and mountains. The bar has a really good condition pool table as well. Would definitely stay again."

"Pier Cottage provides the perfect base from which to explore Kinlochbervie and NW Scotland. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. We really enjoyed our time there."

"This is a great house for a crowd with open, welcoming kitchen/living room with a view in an amazing isolated spot overlooking a beach along the NC500. Sheep in the front and the waterfall a wee walk in the back. Good spot for a family or a big group of friends (lots of twin beds, and nearly all rooms have private bath) with amazing facilities to feed a big group (two dishwashers, two fridges, good pots, pans etc). The AGA kept things toasty, and there were loads of games, books and you can...

"Lovely place with fantastic views and a sunset to die for. 2 mins walk to beach, very peaceful. The whole place was very high end and well cared for. Sean greeted us at the property, handed us slippers and showed us round. Even brought us 2 chairs for the patio when we asked. We felt we were in a 5* hotel and a little bit nervous of living up to the exacting standards...every surface was covered, even the sofa. Notices everywhere! Despite that we loved every minute. Only things missing..a dish...
