Booking through VRBO, while easy, would not be my recommendation as you cannot communicate through the app with the actual management team of the property. While we would stay again for sure, I would book directly."

"Hostel is quite a way out of Haarlem and next to a busy road but on arrival we discovered we had been given a room at the back facing the park - much appreciated as 4 cyclists on a cycle/touring holiday. Lovely friendly staff . Had some snacks from the bar and there was a lovely brazier to sit around in the garden . Met some friendly Dutch and Americans. Breakfast adequate for our needs ."
