Bastion Hotels provide a strong standard of service for value focussed travellers. The staff has been professional for many of my visits and the property standards are high. Love the breakfast, as well as restaurant menu. Appreciate the airport shuttle very much too.

I had a very pleasant stay at Bastion Hotel Amsterdam. One of the biggest advantages was the complimentary shuttle service, which made it incredibly easy to connect to both the airport and the metro, providing quick and convenient access to Amsterdam city centre. The room was a good size, offering plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel is also decently priced compared to many other options in Amsterdam, making it great value for money. Overall, Bastion Hotel is a practical and comfortable choice for anyone looking for easy transport links, spacious rooms, and a reasonably priced stay in Amsterdam. I would happily stay here again.

The property is accessed via free hotel shuttle from Schipol airport. Which is super convenient for getting to and from Amsterdam Centraal train station. The thermostat and phone in our room but guest services changed our room to one with working air conditioning, had a much better sleep. The rooms are clean and quiet. Everything you need and nothing you don't. They have an on-site restaurant if you don't feel like hunting for dinner. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Amsterdam.

My wife and I had a great stay here. It’s a perfect spot for couples. The front desk was very friendly and multilingual. It was close to the airport, which was a bonus. There was a free shuttle, connecting the hotel to the airport which we used daily. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean with a large shower. Although it was close to the airport, the sound of landing and taking off jets, wasn’t an issue. The rooms have dual double pane sound reduction windows. Our only negative was that there was no laundry facilities on site. Will definitely look to stay here in the future.

The room was good the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom door was very noisy and the staff tried everything to fix it to no avail so we ended up propping it open with a chair. They fixed the toilet seat and sprayed the bathroom to try and get rid of smoke smell. We would stay again.

We enjoyed out stay. Breakfast was filling with fresh made omelets. They had bread, cereal, coffee, tea, water, juice, fruit salad, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bus was broken down, so communication from the staff about the airport transportation could have been much better. Many of the times the shuttle didn't stop at the airport - just slowly drove by. Sometimes they were 10 minutes early and 15 minutes late. Overall a good hotel to stay, just know the shuttle wasn't really on punctual timing, so plan a little earlier if needed.

Nice modern room with very comfortable beds. Perfect view for planespotters if you get a room facing the airport direction. Runway isn’t visible but you get a good view of planes climbing if runway 24 is in use for departures and I’d imagine you would get a good view if 06 was in use for arrivals. Bathroom had a slight public bathroom smell to it but that may have been the cleaning product used. Great stay overall and a definite recommendation
