"Netflix was not connected. Rooms need to be cleaned better. The refrigerator and microwave need cleaning. The chairs in the room are super dirty with brown stains. Great location. Easy parking just needs to improve its cleanliness along with better customer service. The people at reception can be very rude."

"From the outside you can tell the hotel had not been updated. The place just looked old and could have used a coat of paint. The interior was very modest and also needed some TLC. I spotted insects multiple times during my two night stay and one cockroach on my last day. Yuck! A lamp on the dresser near the bed would have been nice. The staff was nice enough to provide me extra towels. Good enough for me, but would have been embarrassed had I brought my wife here. Conveniently located to gas stations."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment had all the basics that we needed. Mitch and Susan were super flexible with check in which was so helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of hiking!"

"On the positive side, the hotel itself is nice — the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property also offers EV charging, which is a great amenity in theory. However, the biggest issue was the staff and overall attitude, which really affected our experience. We were traveling with a child and were initially placed in a very noisy room. Be careful when booking — the hotel is located right next to a highway, and some rooms get significant road noise. I explained that it would be impossible for us to sleep in those conditions, but instead of resolving the situation, we were told we could switch rooms only by paying extra. This felt very unfair — in situations like this, I believe a hotel should offer a solution or upgrade, not force guests to pay more. We also had a very unpleasant situation with the EV charger. After our Tesla finished charging, my husband returned the adapter, but later I was surprised to receive an email saying we hadn’t returned it — and we were charged for it not once, but twice. I called the hotel multiple times to resolve the issue, and the staff were rude and insisted the adapter had not been returned. Only after three calls did they finally admit it was their mistake. Unfortunately, the issue is still not fully resolved — the charges have not yet been reversed, and I have not received any confirmation by email. Overall, while the hotel itself is good, the service and handling of issues were very disappointing."

"Beverly was very welcoming. When we booked the house, she sent a PDF of how to get there which was very clear—we didn't even need GPS(A small detail that went a long way in helping us plan our stay)! I truely enjoyed my drive from SF to this place.We had such a lovely time with nature. The location is perfectly set right between Muir Woods and Muir Beach, and we got to feed scrub jays right outside on the patio (yes, she had snacks for the curious birds!). The views of the ocean, hills, and beach are amazing. We were lucky enough to see a rainbow stretching across the land to the ocean, which felt like a fairy tale.If you are looking to get away from traffic and noise, this is the place to be. We had no issues during our stay, and this was one of the most well-equipped rentals ever. I loved how she had all the essentials that we forgot to pack, like an umbrella and beach towels. 11/10 recommend if you’re looking for a getaway with the prettiest views and coolest vibes!"

"Amazing property with beautiful natural redwoods, ferns, and other trees and plants, as well as thoughtful landscaping design for privacy, peace, and relaxation in mind. House layout was perfect for rest and with abundant options to spread out both inside and outside on property grounds. Hot tub placement and layout is amazing!!Highly recommended property."

"A little gem within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in Mill Valley. We started the day with a full, fresh, and delicious included breakfast. Our room looked out on redwoods and was clean and comfortable. Amenities for the bath were plentiful and of good quality. There is a 24-hour front desk with friendly staff and free parking on the premises. We will definitely stay there again when in Mill Valley."
