"I stayed here while excessively jet lagged and booked the Mendip suite for extra comfort. The hotel was very comfortable and very well appointed. The staff were friendly and courteous, the bathroom spacious and clean, and the breakfast was superb (especially nice to see Black Pudding on the menu!). Would very much recommend for anyone looking to spend a night or two in the charming town of Taunton. For anyone looking for a decent pub nearby, the Ring of Bells was excellent."

"Very welcoming from young lady at reception, room clean & comfortable with good shower, although could do with rubber safety mat as quite slippery. Good breakfast with quick service from same young lady, seems she was running the place single handed, a good jib shr was doing too. Would certainly stay again."

"As soon as we got reception staff couldn't do enough for us. First day went to the cricket got to see most of the game before rain stopped play. The rest of the match was virtually a wash out. Plodding round the town visiting places that were recommended all very good Wil be back."
