Somerset Lodge is a luxury lodge with hot tub located at Tor Farm, nestled at the base of  Nyland Hill, in the rural Somerset countryside, close to Cheddar Gorge. A perfect place to explore the surrounding area for walks with your loved ones (including those four pawed).

Perfect for couples, families and friends wishing to get together in a beautiful rural location. With your own private hot tub and barbeque station to relax and socialise around with the shared seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool adding to your tranquil break away.

- Please advise at booking if 2nd bedroom is to be king bed, if not requested in advance default will be twin beds
- Check-in between 3-7pm on day of arrival, contactless check in available, with late arrivals please contact to arrange.
- Check-out 10am, except on Sundays when check out is extended to 3pm.
- Smoking not permitted within the lodges
- For group bookings of 5 or more - please ring or email to discuss before booking online
- We ask that there should be no loud noise be it from voices or music outside after 10pm, so as not to disturb other residents who wish to be quiet. If you are using the hot tub, be aware that noise travels in the still of the night, so please respect other guests who are here for a peaceful break away from it all

Great location, very peaceful & spacious lodge. We really enjoyed the swimming pool & hot tub.Really close to Cheddar Gorge which was stunning & Glastonbury Tor is definitely worth a visit.

Somerset Lodge was an absolute delight. Spacious and comfortable. Very private. The hot tub and pool were brilliant additions to our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Booked for my wife and infor our 3rd anniversary, had a lovely peaceful weekend. The lodge was perfect for us and our little dog. Will definitely look to book again on the future with more family.

A relaxing getaway

We had a lovely time relaxing in this beautiful part of Somerset, we went out on a couple of day trips but our main objective was to get away and relax from a stressful job and life which this holiday done for us. Great place for peace and quiet and my wife enjoyed having the hot tub and swimming pool so near to hand.

Lovely holiday

This is the second time we have visited and the accommodation is excellent. Karen and Ben are great hosts. Very clean and tidy. Would certainly recommend and visit again.

Winter get-away treat

We had a wonderful stay celebrating my 40th birthday. The hot tub was a highlight star gazing and warming up after watching the starlings murmuration. Highly recommend the Swan in Wedmore for food. Thank you for a memorable birthday shared with friends.

Loved it and can't wait to go again

Very relaxing 5 days with my partner and two dogs. The Lodge is very well equipped and very clean. Great shower. Very quiet area. Beautiful sitting in the hot tub at night looking at the stars. Will definitely be going again.

This lodge honestly couldn't have been better! Location, outdoor furnishings and facilities, peace and tranquility, indoor touches including super comfortable beds, cleanliness and even free range eggs from Emma within a 2 minute walk! Brilliant

This is a great place to stay. Very well made, really nicely done and in a great location. Hot tub was lovely and perfectly situated outside the patio door from the bedroom. Very impressed. Really clean and well maintained. Close to plenty of locations such as the cheddar gorge and weston supermare. Scenery is fantastic and very peaceful. Made to feel welcome. Loved it.

Easter getaway

We had a great time in somerset lodge at Tor farm. We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter holidays as a family of 3 and our dog. The location was perfect just a 10 minute drive to Cheddar and 20 minutes to Wells. The lodges are clean, warm and spacious with everything you need in kitchen. The hot tub was lovely and a good size, this was a hit with our 8 year old. The lodge has its own little private garden and decking area with the hot tub and bbq area. It was extremely peaceful and quite, which was exactly what we were after. We will definitely come back again.

Beautiful peaceful hidden gem!

Really stunning little farm. Down a 2 mile country lane so u would never know it was there. Went for my wifes birthday for long weekend and had a brilliant time. Couple of miles to cheddar gorge and about half hour from Weston-super-Mare. Daughter loved the pool and going uo the lane to see the cows, sheep and horses. Wife loved buying the eggs from the owners daughters chickens. ELLAS eggs.stayed in primrose.

Amazing place

I booked here to go away with my partner and it was lovely so peaceful and clean, I’ll definitely go back again. Only problem I had was we left on the Sunday and check out is 3pm but I was told by Vrbo that is was 10am so I was abit annoyed about that and when I tried to get hold of the host to find out about it I was unable too. But over all it’s a beautiful place to say would recommend it to anyone that what’s a relaxing peaceful break

Remote

We didn't receive our check in details, so had a panicked few minutes when we arrived and couldn't get in. Soon resolved. The lodge is very remote along a narrow, twisty, well used road. Lovely views, hot tub was fab, as were the views You could take bikes as a mile or so is access to the Strawberry line, an off road cycle path. Road quite hazardous though so not suitable for small children on bikes.Nice dog walk as cows not out and it was dry.Swimming pool looked nice but was out of season, so closed.We found bed too firm and could not sleep.
