"On arrival was shown to room .The room looked ok until we realised that it had no wardrobe or hanging space the drawers in the chest of drawers were grubby so we ended up living out of suitcases. We were staying for a week.The room needed a deep clean dust everywhere. The breakfast was a joke no cooked breakfast and the so called continental breakfast was a cereal ,grapes blueberries, strawberries they put the same strawberries out for 3 days by day 4 they they were mouldy. "Wished they had a family room or at least put our two rooms together with an inside door."

"Pub very nice. Room good too - only moan is the ridiculously small wash basin, with no room for either soap or hand wash bottle. Lovely Continental breakfast choice - even warmed the pastries and lots of choice. The cooked breakfast wasn't great. Some items were cool others hot enough. The sausage was quite dense with chewy skins, hard to cut. The streaky bacon was pale and appeared undercooked (didn't look appetising), although it tasted ok. Would certainly recommend The Dolphin to other travellers, but it is slightly more expensive than others"

"Nice clean and modern room, quiet and peaceful night of sleep with comfy bed, bathroom a bit outdated but was perfectly fine. Only things I would say were a bit annoying were breakfast being so busy (appreciate we did stay on a saturday and sunday night in the summer holidays) and the hair dryer wasn’t working in the room. Paying for parking was bit much but expected due to location. Staff were very friendly and helpful particularly as we had a late arrival! Also great to be next to Miller and Carter."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms spacious and clean, quiet and comfortable. The driving range was convenient, staffed by helpful and funny people. padel was also very quick to get to. It was easy going and relaxed. OK, the weather was great and that’s the icing on the cake."
