"The parent in laws stayed and said it was a lovely large place and the host was lovely but although booked though here it went through Sykes cottage and no response from them when messaging. Mother in law offered recommendations to host of fresh eggs would be nice and a welcome pack but said they had been left a sponge cake which was a nice touch but only one toilet roll. And although it was very much out of the way they said it was lovely and they would go back."

"An elegantly appointed fairly formal country house in a beautiful rural setting, not far from a tiny small village. The rooms are comfortable and the hosts provide a great breakfast. Access to and from the property from the A roads was interesting to say the least. Single lane ā€œroadsā€ for the 2 miles either side of the property require a fair degree of both caution and concentration. Some parts will barely allow a car to pass. That said, it is worth the trip. Just do it slowly!"
