"WI-FI does not work in room 149, very frustrating. Decent TV options. I could not enter the self-service laundry with my room key. It kept showing red light. I complained to reception, NOT fixed. The kitchenette in the room was very old but basically functional, however the toaster was broken. The bathroom was clean and functional. Bedroom was clean and comfy, also very spacious. Aircon worked ok but noisy, lucky I had ear plugs. Plenty of roof covered and outside car parking. I would rate this...

"Great place to stay. Big spacious room and closet space. Food and bar are great. Convenient location close to food, shopping and water front. Loved my stay here. "

"Limited opening hours can be problematic trying to get there to give id/deposit. Afterhours check in great but then have to go back next day for id etc. price is great for facilities. Some furniture needs replacing and cleaning under sofa /under beds.. but still would stay again & have been returning for s few years"

"The hotel is clean but definitely dated. Thats probably part of the charm. The bed is large and comfortable, the shower not so much. The pub downstairs is a big draw card. Lots of things happening. I especially enjoyed the trivia on Tuesday and unplugged music on Thursday. I would definitely return."

"The hotel is lovely and conveniently located. The staff were all very pleasant. There was some misleading information on the booking description that was disappointing. There is not a spa on site. As I had booked for that reason, it was a bit irritating. Maybe they will correct that in the listing. Note that the nearest spa will require at least 24 hr advanced booking to accommodate guests of the hotel (with limited availability). Other than that, my stay was excellent. "

"Very centrally located close to the markets and the foreshore. Having breakfast included is great even if it’s very simple with no eggs although would suggest to offer a few pastries. Room on the small side so 1 or 2 nights stay is okay."
