Expedia VIP guest, I never got my room upgrade despite very low occupancy. Check-in staff didn't even look at my booking and request until I arrived so had to remind them I was VIP to get an early check-in. Never got any of my special requests which were basic like quiet room away from foot traffic, so they put me next to the lifts.. (on 2 seperate occasion s).. Was told the pool was heated to 26.c when I rang up. It's actually not properly heated at all..!! So no winter swimming. Club room and Spa closed due to Covid... Poor excuse now as there are no current restrictions.
$5 delivery fee for room service yet you can have the same food delivered free by the pool. Also a very poor limited menu for room service.. they pretty much don't want to offer it.
It a pretty good hotel generally but you can tell their cost cutting.. no free mineral water in your room, not complimentary toothbrush kits and ear buds, any of that type of stuff you get standard with a 5 star hotel.
It's a good 4 star but definitely not up to 5 star standard
