"It was a very last minute request so the room was a “universal design” one next to the front desk. Naturally it was very noisy in the check-in / check-out peak hours. Other than that, the room was spacious, cosy, clean and reasonably priced. The environment was perfect too - although I used to live in the city over a decade, I’ve never found this area so attractive. A hidden gem in fact. I’ll def use it again by booking one well in advance! "

"This is a very nice hotel that is well looked after, clean and friendly. It has a family run feel. Breakfast was good. It’s about 40 min walk into the centre of Oxford or there was a bus. 15 min walk to the Oxford Parkrun"
