"I was so disappointed with my stay at Studio 9 Hotel in Mendocino County. The pictures on the website were very misleading. There was no patio or beautiful beach scenery from the room as advertised. Instead, when you opened the bathroom window, you were looking directly into people’s backyard, which felt uncomfortable and lacked privacy. The room itself also did not meet expectations. The bed and furniture were old and worn out, and only one bath towel was provided for the stay, which was inconvenient. Overall, the experience did not match what was presented online, and I feel the hotel should provide more accurate photos and better accommodations for guests."

"Tired old place with lots of hack repairs. No towel rack, broken microwave, sink, soap dispenser broken. Water was hot, and the toilet flushed. So that was good. A mattress was out in the parking lot when I arrived. I was told it was soaked by a guest’s leaking ice chest, I asked if they were throwing it out, “nope just drying it in the sun”. They then dragged it back in. Pretty gross, Maybe a health violation. Anyway I wish them well and suggest increasing their maintenance budget, the place does have good “bones” and potential. Staff was helpful, and polite."
