  • Glass Beach is a beach in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, California, that is abundant in sea glass created from years of dumping garbage into an area of coastline near the northern part of the town. Once upon a time the sand was coated in brightly colored bits of sea glass, and social media is full of photos that make it look as if the sand still looks that way, but that isn't the case. Over the years the public has raided the beach of much of its glass. Now at first look, some might say it looks like any other ordinary beach. Yes you can still find glass here, but you have to look for it, and most of colored glass is long gone. It all makes for a fun little treasure hunt however! What a great location - perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly, the room comfortable and we loved being so close to the ocean, able to walk out to walking paths that head right up to the cliffs above and down to the water's edge.

We settled for the room with no view and no hot tub. We were very happy with the experience. Staff was great everywhere you looked. There were happy people. Many other travelers and great moods very nice experience.

Please stay here!! The check in was lovely, friendly and comfortable. I wasn’t expecting much from the outside, but the room was excellent! Well thought out amenities: black wash cloths for makeup, a box fan, robes, very comfy bed…..I would absolutely stay here again.

Staying here was amazing . Amazing view of the Ocean and wstcbing the waves . Able to walk to the ocean. The tub was best oart huge tub and jets work as well it was actually peaceful and clean room we got . Well worth for the price .
