"This is a beautiful cottage, clearly an older building but nicely renovated and in great condition. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath are both very good, and the champagne on arrival was very welcome! The location is at the end of a long track, so the cottage is secluded and quiet making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Importantly the bed is also very comfortable and supportive, which is not something than can be said for every holiday rental! It is easy to get to the coastal paths for walking, and...

"Holly Cottage is a well equipped cottage, with everything you could need, in a very typical pretty Yorkshire village. Very comfortable, and a good wood burner in the sitting room, making it cosy, although the kitchen area was also so nice we spent a lot of time in there too. Very comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms too. Hutton Le Hole is a pretty village, with easy access to good roads for travel to the coast and York, but with plenty to do in the immediate area too, including Castle...

"Rachael and Rory were perfect hosts and were always there to assist us. The icing on the cake was a delicious Yorkshire Brack cake waiting for us on our arrival and to top it all Rachael made us a cake half way through our visit. The accommodation was excellent. Car parking right outside the front door."

"Lovely apartment but needed a thorough clean. Walking bearfooted floors felt gritty and a little sticky. Wooden cabinets in kitchen and living area full of greasy fingerprints. Duvet had about a two inch bloody looking stain on it, brought it to their attention, it was returned later in the day in same condition. Sorry to complain but it really spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay. Nice staff."

"The property itself was very clean and well situated approximately 2.5 miles from the centre of Scarborough. Check in was easy with a coded key safe. We found the kitchen to be poorly equipped, fortunately we had take a few items ‘just in case’, this could definitely be improved but in no way spoiled our stay! We took a dog with us, the area of the garden with the hot tub is enclosed and secure so he could roam around while we had a soak. All in all a great stay thank you 😊"

"This was our second stay here for the three of us plus dog. Located near the castle and overlooking the railway, it’s ideally placed. Town is a two minute walk and, although parking is a street away, there was always free spaces. You’ll need reversing skills to get to the property to unload, as the house is on a narrow one way road, with no parking. The property is ideal for four, with two bathrooms and a decent sized kitchen/dining/living area. Happy to say, we’ll look for the property the next...

"We enjoyed our stay at the Sands apartment. It was a nice area with lovely views looking out to north beach. We stayed in a duplex apartment on the ground floor and felt the bedrooms were a bit small and cramped. Not enough storage space eg. No chest of drawers in the main bedroom and only 10 hangers between two adults. We lived out our cases. The outside patio area and chairs were filthy and not cleaned for our arrival. Having seen inside another two bed On the 4th floor it was far superior in...
