  • Secure garden and Off road parking for 2 cars. 3 bedrooms - one double, one double plus a single bed and a single room which is downstairs. The bathroom is upstairs. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge freezer, electric hob and oven. Television with DVD player, Full central heating and electric log effect fire. Only 2 miles from Whitby and Sandsend. Next to a small Alpaca farm. Open views over farmland. Cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. WiFi connection recently added.

Overall the property was as described, but without being too negativen the main faults we found were as follows...Internet may as well not have been there, Spider webs in lots of locations, metal Beds contributed to lack of sleep, Foisty smell in bedrooms, especially the groung floor one, hence maybe the fly killer spray that overpowered you on entry, The plus sides were,,,,, Alpacas were a bonus, as were the free Milk and Eggs, we loved the rural setting and the quiet location. Would we stay again, probably not..

Easy to find, easy parking, lovely hosts, very nice touches with the milk and eggs. Exceptionally clean! Very well equipped, will definitely be booking again!! Apologies for not being able to say goodbye. A big thank you.

Wonderful stay

Nice comfortable cottage with enough space for a family. Wonderful quiet area but still close to all amenities. Beach very close, the whole countryside is just beautiful. If we went to Yorkshire on holiday again, we would definitely come back here.

Lovely cosy place to stay

This is our second year staying at Christmas. It’s great location for Sandsend and Whitby. The house itself is warm well equipped and spacious for the whole family to stay. We love staying here as a family and will be returning again throughout the year.

Great holiday

This is the sixth time at grain cottage lovely place lovely friendly hosts if you want to meet the alpacas just ask and Pauline will take you to meet them. We always have a great holiday there and our dog loves it as well

Great location

Lovely cottage in a great location. Was lovely to see the alpacas next door. We would definitely stay here again as it was quiet, cosy and relaxing but only a short distance from Tenby. A great find 👍
