"Loved our stay at the Strater. It was our first time to Durango. We were here for a wedding. We loved the added touch of the historic hotel for the wedding party. So much history in this hotel and town. Will definitely be back. "

"It was simple to find. Parking gets a little cramped in the late evening, so get what you need before you check-in. You'll ened up having to park a but further away if you leave and head back. One guy parked stupidly by taking up four spaces in the front lot with his truck and motorcycle trailer. He could've been considerate and parked off to the side. The pool is small. Breakfast was okay, the food was decent but it's the people themselves that were so gross. They were mishandling food, dropping the main utensils, hogging literally all the food in sight. There was an elderly couple who came down a bit late and there was nothing for them to eat. I felt bad for them. So i suggest maybe skip the breakfast and eat elsewhere. The coffee was good though. Thank you to the lady who was so nice cleaning up, making coffee and keeping up with the messiness of the disrespectful guests. She deserves a raise. "
