"I really liked the room it was clean and good for families . The staff was very great but I don't like the check in it was very crowded 2 hours in queue .thank you"

"The property is close to the beach, and easy to access. The bar and restaurant were open and food was lovely. The rooms were clean, spacious and had great views of the sea. The only reason I marked as good is because of the noise levels of other guests, walls were thin and could hear the couple next door arguing for a long time. Also would be good if the restaurant had a snacks option. We arrived quite late and would have been nice to purchase some snacks. The staff were so lovely and polite, especially bar staff. Would definitely recommend."

Waterfront Southport Hotel

"The waterfront is a man made lake and not the sea. The sea was a long way off in the distance over estuary sand. Beach is a car ride away. So not a beach holiday place. Posher, with pleasant promenade on the lakeside and also seafront overlooking very long promenade - currently closed. FantasticVictorian street with boulevard, canopied independent shops, statues and old buildings. Hotel is central and resort is lovely."

"The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The car park is a short 2 minute wallk away at Lytham Green/ Clifton Drive. There are several bars / restaurants on the doorstep, our favourite being Zest. My only criticism is the pillows are hard and lumpy and need replacing.. A great stay overall"
