Great hotel in Tuscanny. Self sustaining. A true gem

Room was very comfortable but starting to need a refresh. The bathroom was larg, but the shower was over a very deep bath, which made access and exiting a little difficult, as we are both in our late 70's. Location was excellent, a 1 minute walk from the bus station near the Porta Sant Anna at the western side of Lucca. Staff were excellent. Polite, friendly and helpful.

It was a very busy weekend in Lucca and we booked this last minute. It is located just outside the old city however the hosts provide you with a free bicycle which allows you easy access and the opportunity to explore the city and its surrounds

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Hotel. Very comfortable and ideally located to resturants and shops. A bit of a distance from train station but still walkable. Breakfast was enjoyable each morning and staff very friendly greeting you each time they see you.

Great location and a very comfortable room for three adults for one night. Very helpful staff and great facilities. Free tea/coffee was available in the dining room until 6 pm. The continental breakfast was very good.

I love this hotel…The Tuscanian Hotel is a touch of elegance, friendliness and sophistication in the heart of romantic Lucca. We stayed for five nights and then extended for 3 more. Beautiful suite, comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom and all the little extras that make staying in upmarket boutique hotel memorable. During our stay my wife had medical situation, she had back pain and could not move at all. Hotel staff strongly suggested us go to see the doctor immediately, which is Sunday morning the most un-convenient time, therefore hotel staff called the ambulance went to the emergency department of local hospital. They also gave us a room for 2 extra days so my wife had complete rest to helping her recovery.

Absolutely spotlessly clean and beautifully and stylishly renovated. We really loved this room. It was a short walk one way to the tower and 4 minutes walk the other way to lots of cool restaurants, shops and bars. Perfectly central to everything you’d need. Luisa was a great, kind and very supportive host with lots valuable local information. We really enjoyed our Pisa experience here and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Thoroughly recommend!!
