"No cot despite paying for one. Didn’t answer the phone when phoning from the room. Very frustrating with a baby being put to sleep on an evening after checking in. "

"This hotel was fairly close to the Rarl’s Court train station. It was about a 6 mins walk. So location itself wasn’t too bad, but beware of the walk if you’ve got heavy luggage’s. The front desk person wasn’t the friendliest. I had arrived at the hotel at around noon, and since check in wasn’t until 3pm, we were offered an early check in for around $14 extra. We agreed to it so we have a place to freshen up and put all our luggages. Needless to say, our room was very tiny. The standup shower was so tiny I felt claustrophobic taking a shower. The only reason why I’m bringing up the room size is because I booked two identical rooms, one for me And one for my Sister who checked in the day after me. When she checked in to her room, her room was significantly larger than mine. I paid the same amount for both Rooms therefore o should get the same room size. That was not the case at all. Also, on my first night, I accidentally spilled something on my bed and the next day kindly asked the front desk person ( which was the same guy from when I checked in) if he could send housekeeping to change the sheets. When I got back to my room, the bed was fixed, but the sheets were still dirty and not changed. I asked the housekeeper why it wasn’t taken cared of and they said they weren’t aware and weren’t told about the issue. I do not recommend this place as they are not attentive to their guests and requests. Poor customer service. "

"Clean room. Double bed but they called it a single. Nice size. A big and deep bathtub. Toiletries provided. Staff were helpful and easy going. Area was alright. Usual mix of tourists, construction workers, and locals. Close to Underground Station. Walking distance to the Museum of Natural History. Didn’t try the restaurant and bar. But the patrons seemed quiet and respectful when I looked it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice budget stay. "

"Room was small and weirdly shaped. UK king size bed is a similar size to a US queen. Great to have hair dryer, tea, and coffee, and fridge in room. Staff were not overly friendly but not rude either. Pool was good. Noises through the night like rattling windows. "

"Hotel was pretty clean. There was a little water damage in the bedroom and you can tell the building itself is older. Beds were comfortable and the room was nice. What really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Everyone seemed to go out of their way to ensure our stay was great. Shan at checking was friendly and gave us great advice about the city at checkin. Breakfast was always busy but staff made sure to clear tables quickly so waiting was minimal. Overall we would stay here again. "
