"The person who does the hiring for the hotel really does a great job. The employees of this hotel are phenomenal. PHENOMENAL. Shout out to Caroll and her manager at the Front Desk! My husband and I had traveled from Pennsylvania overnight, got taken to the wrong hotel a mile away, then walked. 9 of a mile in the rain to the hotel. We looked a fright, I am sure.(husband is bald, but I know that I was a mess).Carol and manager upgraded our room to the most beautiful suite I have ever seen! It was so unnecessary, unexpected, and kind. We were blown away. The service in the breakfast room is excellent as well. Those girls HUSTLE. The food was plentiful, well cooked, kept well stocked, and varied. The buffet was extremely sanitary. The lobby and bar were clean and lively with visitors. The pool area stays busy with families having fun. I didn't partake. Nor did I use the gym. My only criticism of the property is the elevator situation. There are two elevators, and only one of them was in service, and there was a full house. It was very inconvenient, especially since the stairs take you to the kitchen. It wouldn't have been bad at all, if the stairs let you out in a public space. But, you can't plan when your elevator breaks, so I am going to let them slide on that. Lovely property, fantastic staff, and excellent location. Really great location. Stay here!"
