Bed and Breakfast in Bridge of Weir

"First of all , Tom is a lovely host friendly and had suggestions for dining and taxi service . Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for moving around . Breakfast was very hospitable and yummy food provided with company at one table with the other B&B persons. My only issue was that four rooms shared a bathroom on the second storey so maybe a suggestion would be to have potentially scheduled shower times or cleaning supplies to share between persons visiting . "Unterkunft sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ganzen Haus liegt alter staubiger Teppichboden aus. Zimmer sehr altbacken. Leider war der Wasserkocher so alt und/oder nicht richtig gereinigt, dass sich das Material am Boden gelöst hat und Schimmel darin war auch nicht auszuschließen. Eigentümerin hatte mich herfahren und parken sehen, kam aus ihrem Cottage heraus und lief an mir vorbei ohne zu warten oder grüßen. Sie wusste genau, dass ich ein Gast des Hauses bin. Etwas sonderbar."

Location was perfect, just a short walk into town, my husband has COPD, So we wanted something local and it was, just a 5minute walk. Would definitely book here again. "Lovely B&B in a quiet country location at Mauchline outside Kilmarnock. Modern house surrounded by peaceful countryside surrounded by farmland with views over to Arran on the horizon. The room was comfortable and clean with all amenities and free wifi available. The breakfast was epic with a fabulous selection of a platter of fresh fruits,yoghurt,homemade fruit compote and granola followed by a selection of cooked breakfasts for every type of diet. "great value = room modern and clean - some cooking facilities location perfect hard to fault "

"It was an amazing stay. Our only complaint was that the washing machine was not plugged in and required someone to come and remove the cabinet door to pull it out and plug it in. It was promptly taken care of once we reported it. "
