"This is a very nice hotel near Shimbashi Station and Ginza, and within walking distance of Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace. The staff is polite, kind, and very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel reminds me of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco: elegant and from a bygone era (in a good way). There were no laundry facilities; however there is a laundry service. We did our laundry at a laundromat called Guruguru just down the street, which was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend."

"As good as my last stay (2023) when the hotel was relatively new. Rooms are a little small for two people but it’s manageable, and expected for Tokyo and the price. Well located with multiple stations and lines nearby."

"The location, staff, and breakfast were all great. The only issue I had was that the room I checked into had a horrible odor that was so bad I asked to switch rooms. The new room still had the same odor but not as strong. I was too tired at that point that I took their suggestion of using the AC and humidifier which helped. It seemed like it was a known issue during our stay because other guests were also complaining about the smell and rooms on my floor had open doors to air them out. "

"Honestly, we loved our stay at the Hotel New Otani. The staff were splendid and so thoughtful, kind and helpful. The room was well take care of and very comfortable. The beds were a little firmer than we are used to but we all slept great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffets- lots to choose from and helpful for our five year old to be fed early. My hubby said he was able to get a decent workout in the gym. The gardens are worth walking in, so beautiful! We used the luggage forwarding service, and the staff made it so seamless! We were able to get to the trains easily too. I would definitely come back and stay here if I am lucky enough to visit Japan again! "
