"I really liked my stay, but it took them 1 hour to give us the room, they gave it to us at 4pm, and when we finally got it it was a double, and I booked the king room, I had to go back to the lobby, and although the manager was very capable and gave us the right room, the truth is we had a bad time, but I must say that the experience was ideal."

"My husband and i stayed here for 5 days, and we had a wonderful time! From Rosa at the front desk who took care of us and made sure we had a beautiful room with a stunning view to Junior the pool concierge who had our cabanas ready every morning and checked on us. Danny at The Reef made sure the drinks kept flowing and Wander kept us inform of all the activities. We had a beautiful time! Everyone was attentive, and made sure we enjoyed our vacation. "

"I liked that everything really was all inclusive like they said! The beach was also really pretty and they offered kayaking and snorkeling for free. I got food poisoning from my last day :( Everything is buffet style (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) except one restaurant. They have "live" cooking stations like for omelets and such. There was more alcohol available than one could ever need."

"Staff at RIU is amazing, they provide excellent service. Location is great with beautiful beach 🏝️. Property is well maintained. Food is great. Spa and wellness, very good. The only thing where I would like to see some improvements are rooms that can use some updates, bed mattresses are slightly too firm for my preference. Cons: The beach is covered in seaweed, as is the water. So much so that we could not enter the ocean. The view is lovely, but it is not a “beach vacation.” The other not great issue is the food. Just not very good. "

"I enjoyed my 3 nights at this property. The pool view was absolutely amazing even though there is not an ocean view. I paid extra for breakfast and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, there were a few things that I did not like, such as the WiFi only working in the lobby. The balcony sliding door not being able to close or lock. They did not provide wash cloths. Other than that, it is an awesome hotel."
