"Let's start with the staff, rude, not friendly and didn't like at all that I had find a better price at hotels.com and made my reservation through the app and not directly with the hotel. The hotel is old, outdated and inside the room we found that the door doesn't lock properly. They make you leave your key at the front desk without anyone monitoring it and anyone can grab your key from the counter and see the actual room number on the key tag and access the room. There is no elevator, and everything was dirty. Spiderwebs all over the place, the carpets at the hotel looked worned and dusty. Inside the room the towels had stains, we asked for new ones and they gave me horrible quality and almost holes in them. The sink was cracked, and the shower head was so old that when you opened it, the water would go past the shower curtain from the top and wet everything outside the shower. We didn't shower there, it was too disgusting. Also, the shower walls had mold. The floors of the room had a floor that was uneven and incomplete wood flooring. Paid $117 a night "with a huge discount" for the worse place I've ever stayed. I could have paid $95 for another place with an Oceanview. Definitely, never going back there. They need to remodel that place, is not only old and dirty, it's a health and safety hazard. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay with Fran and Mario! Its an easy walk to the beach and besides great food at the hotel there are lots of food options within a 15 minute drive. We would highly recommend!"

"I arrived to check in on the afternoon of the 28th to find an empty reception desk. A maintenance worker kindly did what he could to help me and the other customers piling up at the reception desk since its attendant was gone for a good 20 minutes (no sign, no explanation). Cecilia (as I later learned she is called) arrived, attending to guests gruffly and out of order and with no excuse for her absence. As she checked me in, she demanded payment, although I had already paid for the room. I politely questioned whether she was certain that payment would be necessary (as I remembered having paid), but she vehemently insisted, interrupting more than usual, that I had not prepaid my reservation. I paid, placed my luggage in my room (where I found long lists of largely trivial DONT's backed by vague threats, such as unfriendly warnigns about taking $2 dollar towels to the beach... sigh...) and was on my way out of the hotel when Cecilia loudly demanded that I leave my key at the desk? Policy or not, it is insulitn for adults to need to wait 20 minutes for Ceclia to let them back in their room... just let us keep the key, Cecilia, especially if you aren't into doing your job... I dealt briefly with other members of the staff that evening, and found their attitudes, to a person, to be much more respectful and helpful. Upon returing to the hotel after dinner, I was stopped by another staff member who flagged me down to explain that, indeed, Cecilia had double charged me. "
