"Cosy/homely and very clean place but not modern. A countryside feel. The first day we could not see Mt Fuji but we were lucky that we had non-cloudy clear days subsequently. Con: It was tiring dragging luggage for 15min to the hotel and google maps helped. There is no path so you share with cars. "Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend."

"Minatogawa is a small harbor area. It's quiet but chilled out and relaxing. There's nowhere quite like Marinx Classic Harborview Pension. Biggest bed I've had in Japan, great staff, brilliant food. I really needed the chance to relax and I got it. This is an ideal spot to explore Southern and Western Okinawa if you drive. Even for walking There's good beaches nearby and Oujima is a pleasant walk with a lot of friendly cats."
