"The house is in a lovely rural location but near to a village for food shopping. It was also in a perfect location for the WW1 Memorials & Cemeteries that we visited, Ypres, Hooge, Tyne Cot etc. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival, very nicely furnished and well equipped. The bedrooms & sitting/dining area are a good size. The pool was great as was the area surrounding it, with plenty of chairs & sun loungers. "It's possible that I should have read the description more closely, but I was expected a private villa, perhaps behind the host's home? That's not the case. You are staying in a semi-private part of someone's home with them. It is a beautiful home, and the owners were very nice. Still, I was thrown at first after an exhausting day of travel - so just be aware. It was nice to have bikes available to us, but know none are kid-sized and they're not in the best of shape. Still, it was fun to ride...
