The hotel is a conversion from a very old house that's dark and a bit run down but the bar and restaurant are very nice. Overall very good value for money @ £85/night for double room and first rate 3 course meals from £17"

"Though we didn't have a pet, it seemed very dog friendly, food and water dishes, secure garden etc. Host was helpful and friendly, comfy cottage, well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. Small private sitting area as well as garden .A small , but steep incline on road up to location, if you have walking difficulties .We are In our 70s and was fine. "
