"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."

"This is not a hotel or a B&B, its a room with shared Bathroom/Toilet. There is no check-in but a key-code which is not a problem. Check-in is at 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00 Apart from the front of the building we never saw anything remotely Tudor in our room. You will be asked for a deposit but to be honest there is nothing in the room worth £100.00. The Bed was clean and not uncomfortable and the owner is helpful when you ask for anything. "
