"Room was shabby at best. Bed was clean but floor dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. Plug didn’t drain, taps in a state, shower barely worked, blind in room broken, room so hot had to have window open (no air con). Not sure what the standard rooms were like but this was a club room!"

"Stayed here for a couple of nights over the Easter weekend and the whole stay was great. The staff was very helpful and attentive, the rooms are a great size, very clean and have all the amenities you could ask for. Had breakfast & dinner at the motel diner and was lovely food as well so could well recommend this if you’re not too sure where to go for food. Overall great place to stay if you’re in the area!"

"Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Room was lovely and very good value for money. Hotel pool area needs an update but good for the kids. Bathroom in room needs a really good clean - grime around bath/shower. Shower had barely any power. The complimentary toiletries were not replinished when we arrived, which is very disappointing and a lack of attention to detail. "

"Pool and spa were brilliant good for kids not too busy and nice areas to relax. Staff were really helpful at breakfast especially with the kids. It would have been nice to have a vegetarian sausages on the menu. Reception staff were amazing check in and checkout really efficient. Overall highly recommend and we would defo come back "

"As usual all amenities were clean and tidy. Room and bathroom were first rate and all the staff my wife and I came into contact with were welcoming, friendly and willing to that extra step including changing us to a room on a lower floor. Stay was excellent overall"

"Centralised temperature control was broken and staff failed to address the issue in 2 consecutive nights. Rooms were heated through centralised system and there was no maintenance staff to fix it and thermostats in the rooms were disabled, it wasn’t possible to control room temperature and opening windows led to major motorway (M4) noise in the room. This led to very uncomfortable and sleepless nights for entire family!!! "

"Perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding area. Friendly staff and nice pub style food. The room was spacious and reasonably priced. Pretty isolated but there is a petrol station within about 50 metres which has a shop for any essentials "
