"This is a very characterful building in an amazing location, nestled in amongst the colleges. It's important to note that in our experience there was nearly no service: when we were there we did not meet a single staff member. But for us this was fine. We spoke to them by phone, and they were very helpful and flexible with us as we solved some checking-in problems (of our own making, not their fault). "We stayed here to go to Cheltenham Football Stadium. It was a short walk and we enjoyed our stay. Parking in Cheltenham town centre is tricky."

"All the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good and freshly made, decent beer and a relaxed vibe. Nice rural village, and a decent room. I didn't realise when I booked that it was a bath with no shower, and being over six foot, I could not stand up in the bath and use the spray attachment because of the low-sloping roof - but I still enjoyed the stay"

There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children."

"Great communication and a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed, stylish room with comfy bed, a powerful shower and nice tea, coffee and biscuits. An eye mask and ear plugs were supplied as the only down side is there is noise from the street. The windows are sash and I expect can’t be double glazed. Probably not an issue unless you’re a light sleeper."
