"The property is old and outdated. The plumbing doesn’t work correctly. There’s no elevator and the stairs are not lit well. The porch is lovely but filthy. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Marti & I really enjoyed the pool - it was wonderfully heated & a real luxury! & Everyone complimented the comfortable beds.We also recommend shopping at the Island View Seafood Market in Eastpoint: they had the freshest red snapper, stone crab claws & enormous red shrimps from local waters, Yum!Loved the quiet also! We also had the opportunity to watch the "red worm" lunar eclipse in the backyard - at totality all the stars you could see were absolutely amazing! SGI truly a dark sky friendly destination!"
