"Some type of syringe was left in my room from the previous guest. The initial person who respond did seem genuinely helpful but when I went to the front desk in the morning to ask if he left a note for the staff to remove them, the lady cut me off in mid sentence by putting a piece of paper in my face without even looking at me. It was the note he left. I tried to reassure her that I didn't mean any harm in asking and she said "this is just my personality". I described the situation in email to the manager of hospitality and his reply was very vague and lacked genuine concern. I tried to communicate that but he avoifed to my direct questions, tried to make it as if I was asking him how he deals with his internal staff and finally ignored my request for an additional contact person. It just made it clear that guest experience isn't something they seem to value if the hospitality manager who manages escalated emails can be that detached."
