"I LOVED this motel! The room was very clean. I liked the updates and the colors of the room. The room and the bed linens smelled really great too. It felt like a home. As a single woman, feeling safe on road trips is very important. I loved this place enough that I booked a 2nd night. I also enjoyed hearing birds chirping in the morning and the sound of the palm trees swaying. It was very peaceful. Thank you for an excellent stay!"

"Marti & I really enjoyed the pool - it was wonderfully heated & a real luxury! & Everyone complimented the comfortable beds.We also recommend shopping at the Island View Seafood Market in Eastpoint: they had the freshest red snapper, stone crab claws & enormous red shrimps from local waters, Yum!Loved the quiet also! We also had the opportunity to watch the "red worm" lunar eclipse in the backyard - at totality all the stars you could see were absolutely amazing! SGI truly a dark sky friendly destination!"

"Downtown Apalachicola. Could walk to anything. Property was lovely, real old Florida. We had a lovely room with a 4 poster bed and bay window. We had access to the first floor porch and my wife enjoyed reading out there on an old rocking chair. Breakfast was good and host cooked some bacon for us fresh. Love Apalachicola and would have loved to stayed in the property longer, but we were just passing through."

"The villa we stayed in was a bit dated - the kitchen appliances were rather old and there were no outlets for phone chargers on the nightstand between the 2 beds. The shower curtain was too low and some insects were crawling around the bathroom floor. The worst part were the floors which were not clean plus the fact that you had to take your trash with you when leaving or pay an extra $100! However the beds were clean and comfortable; the AC system worked well; the water was hot; and the villa was spacious and quiet. A rating of 3.5 to 4.0 out of 5. "
