    We didn't get to stay there. There had been a plumbing issue. They were very kind to book us at a different hotel and apologetic for the change.

    The hotel is not open except for the bar and then limited times . Check is on line.There is NO room service, no on site parking, no handicap access to second floor, no-breakfast(as advertised) no hotel personnel except those doing renovation. Hotel looks good but very highly overpriced.

    Don’t stay in Room 205!

    I have stayed at the Gibson Inn many times and have always had a good experience until this last time. The morning of our departure, the shower in the room above us leaked into our room on us. I reported this potential hazard and asked for a refund on our room. The management was very slow in getting back to me and after weeks they finally credited me $50 on a $200 room. Additionally, there was mildew in the bathroom. I think they should have given me a total refund or comped a room for a later stay. Don’t stay in room 205 unless it has been repaired. It’s a safety hazard.

    Wonderful historical property - currently undergoing some renovation. Comfortable room, great staff. Breakfast that included was a disappointment given the quality of the restaurant generally.
