"We have stayed here before and loved it, but last night we had the Magnolia room and it had a bad smell, the floor felt very sandy, and the bathroom sink was clogged. We were less than satisfied with the amount of dust on the dresser and around the bed (we had to try to find a plug in for a cpap) you could tell it had not been cleaned properly for a while. "

"Marti & I really enjoyed the pool - it was wonderfully heated & a real luxury! & Everyone complimented the comfortable beds.We also recommend shopping at the Island View Seafood Market in Eastpoint: they had the freshest red snapper, stone crab claws & enormous red shrimps from local waters, Yum!Loved the quiet also! We also had the opportunity to watch the "red worm" lunar eclipse in the backyard - at totality all the stars you could see were absolutely amazing! SGI truly a dark sky friendly destination!"

"Downtown Apalachicola. Could walk to anything. Property was lovely, real old Florida. We had a lovely room with a 4 poster bed and bay window. We had access to the first floor porch and my wife enjoyed reading out there on an old rocking chair. Breakfast was good and host cooked some bacon for us fresh. Love Apalachicola and would have loved to stayed in the property longer, but we were just passing through."
