Our first room the hotel had checked us into was dirty and very small. We were able to switch rooms and upgraded to the one bedroom for more space at a cost. We had to go through Expedia to get a room change as their main office to make the changes are not on property and they were closed. We sent the photos to Expedia and they immediately assisted us with changing rooms. Pool is great for kids, ocean is a short walk, restaurants close by.

A nice place to enjoy Hawaii
Amenities, check in and check out and quality of the resort is amazing. Also understand that the ocean has coral and lava rock so may not be kid-friendly. Definitely bring water shoes to swim in the ocean. That said, the resort staff are courteous and helpful. If visiting Hawaii, definitely consider this venue.
Beautiful resort. Communication about parking at check in was for confusing. Was confused why we had to show our Covid vaccination cards when we checked in as we already had the cleared wristband from the airline. Wasn’t informed that we would need to show vac card when we went to use fitness center and didn’t have it in us. Confused as to why when it was scanned on check in. Wait staff was amazing!
Great location within easy walk to shopping at Whalers Village. Beach at this location is not as wide as it is farther towards the Whalers Village. Beach area is under restoration. Beautiful view from 11th floor. It is very busy around this area with lots of foot traffic on the sidewalk that connects all the hotels by the beach. Make dinner reservations before you go in this area as the prime time spots fill up fast.
Family stay for a couple of nights. The pools are awesome with water slides and a little splash pad for the littlest ones. Great sunset views. Clean spacious rooms.
It was fine, but compared to other resort on the area not my favourite. Quite dense and concentrated - lots of buildings crammed onto the lot. Impersonal - large property without much of a customer service feel to it. You have to walk far to get places. Small rooms. Huge parking lots filled to the brim so tough to get parking and is full not many options so had to walk far. Not many amenities open at this time. It was okay for the price point but not great. Would not go back to this one.
The staff is very accommodating. Great pools! The grounds are always clean.

Too Crowded and Expensive
The place was over capacity and packed. No one was wearing masks when walking around the property or boardwalk areas. We received a ticket for parking in the designated parking garage, even after registering with the property as advised. I would not stay here again.
We were there for our wedding. The staff was friendly and the room was nice. We loved the pool and the onsite restaurants. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

false advertising
parking was very limited. The whole reason for us staying there was to enjoy the bar and restaurants without having to leave the property but everything was closed and it didn't say that anywhere. I get that things are closed due to COVID, but that has to be stated and notadvertised as being on the property. nice but not worth the money.

Room was way too small for the price paid. On top of that nothing on the property was open - only the pool bar which you had to stand up at- ridiculous - we immediately checked out and went back to the condo we had been staying at. Twice the size for less money. The only thing I can say nice is the beach was nice - that’s it.

Very clean rooms. Lots of pools and plenty of activities for the kids.
Friendly staff, variety of pools and activities to choose from. Gorgeous views and walkable from a variety of restaurants and shops. Only downfall is we had a handicap shower the spray nozzle shot directly into our face and made it difficult to shower, they did try to switch the nozzle head but still made for a challenging shower experience.
Room was incorrectly advertised as Ocean View while the water was all hidden behind palm trees. All we could see from the room balcony at an angle was palm trees.
Ocean front you pay more for and unable to see ocean from room until you get onto patio.. other competitors in the are have better rates with better views
Great location and grounds. Our oceanfront room with a balcony had a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, "dorm fridge," utensils, plates, etc. which really came in handy. Views were spectacular. Pool is spectacular. Starbucks by the pool is spectacular. Proximity to Whaler's Village is a bonus. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Beautiful landscape and amazing pools...however, we didn't get the room that we booked. Paid $1300 / 2 nights for an oceanfront villa, we got a villa but with a pool view in combination with ocean view. When asked to be moved, the managment explained all oceanfront rooms had been offered to the time share customers. Thus, there was nothing they can do at that point. The room has no complementary water bottles and refreshment like fruits. Very disappointed for a 5 star hotel like this, would not recommend it. Save your money and explore the island.
Convenient location to the Whalers Village shopping mall (10 minutes walk at the ocean side) Easy 8 minutes drive to Lahaina where good food, huge banyon tree and Luau restaurants.
Hotel is nice and clean.
The only not so good is the self parking garage. The parking space is smaller than usual. So practice your parking skill before you come. :)
great hotel, nice room, great pools and gym, housekeeping excellent, great pool bar, nice lawn with great views for relaxing, excellent salt water pool, access to beach and ocean front walking trail and parks. Starbucks is on site. The only not so good: restaurant food menu needs to improve.
Reservation booking combined two parts. This meant checking out after 1st night and waiting 6 hours to chec in for 2nd two nights. This was not in the best interest of the guests.
This single day stay was actually just a day early check in to our 8 day stay here. There is a lot to do in this area. I like that Whalers Village is a short walk away on the beach walk.
