Thank you so much for such a wonderful property! We were heartbroken to have to leave this amazing condo! The pictures and description on the ad are 100% accurate. The owners communicated everything about the check in and check out process perfectly and they were very responsive to any questions we had. The resort is in a very convenient and quiet area in Kahana. The beach, restaurants & shopping were all within easy walking distance. The location of the condo within the resort is also fantastic. Because it's on the ground level, it's only a few steps to the pool/bbq area and it has a great view of the ocean from the Lanai. The condo is fully stocked with quality appliances. Having a washer/dryer was super convenient. The bed was very comfortable. The walk in closet was roomy enough for all of our clothes and gear. I can't say enough good things about this condo. Drinking coffee every morning on the lanai was the perfect way to start each day and watching the sunset from the same seat was an amazing way to end it. I absolutely recommend this condo and we'll be staying here next time we're in Maui. Mahalo!

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Kahana! We came to town for a family wedding and it was a very convenient location as well as beautiful property. The condo was clean, well organized and all of the amenities of the property were fantastic. 10/10!

Beach Stay
Condo was just as described in the listing. Great view of the ocean and several visiting whales. Great location only minutes from Front St. shops and fabulous beaches. The property was well maintained and the resort staff were all pleasant and helpful. Even after checkout the resort stored our luggage and allowed us to use restrooms including showers before our late night flight home. Roberta was easy to communicate with via the app and text. She helped us with directions and check in process. Visit great area restaurants, Maui Brewing Co. for burgers, Seafood bar and grill was great for dinner, and the restaurant FOND by chef JoJo! Will definitely visit again and would love to stay here!!

Just wonderful!
The property is shown exactly as is! The room is very comfortable and actually had a lot of room. The location is very convenient and the view! Just wonderful! We were able to sit on our lanai and watch the whales! The beach and pool are just steps away which was great for us! Roberta and Chuck were fantastic hosts and I will definitely stay at their condo again. They were great at communication, and made sure we knew all the ins and outs around the island. During our stay, at the end, our connecting flight was cancelled so were stranded for a night and I reached out to Robert who put me at ease and let us stay 1 more night even though they had things going on. I really appreciated she did that for us as we did not know what to do. You will not be disappointed with this place or location. Thank you again Robert and chuck!

Beautiful and comfortable condo with nice lanai and view. Well appointed kitchen. Pool very nice. A few good casual restaurants nearby and not as hectic as Lahaina town but close enough to enjoy. Close to many beautiful beaches. Staff were very helpful, bonus to have a on-site Fitness room Recommend.

Beautiful Condo and Great Location!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kahana Resort! Beautiful views of the ocean and the pool from the Lanai. We would sit out before sunset and watch the whales. Lots of room around the pool and grass area. The condo was very spacious and beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed! Thank you Chuck, we will be back!

Absolutely beautiful condo in perfect location
We enjoyed our 2 weeks at this prime location condo. Excellent location in Maui and the condo was on the 1st floor right next to the pool, beach and ocean. The condo is in immaculate condition with full size appliances and the must needed washer and dryer for the 2 week stay. Parking is $10 nightly but plenty of spots available. They provided everything we needed plus more. This was our first time using VRBO and it will not be our last. Thank you so much Roberta and Chuck.

We just completed a 10 day stay here and the condo was just perfect! It had everything you could possibly need, close to pool and beach and is extremely well kept up ! Owners were very easy to get ahold of with any questions you may have. We have been coming to Maui for over 30 years and will definitely stay here again. Don’t hesitate to rent this condo!

Amazing stay in Maui
This is a fantastic place to stay in Lahaina. We totally enjoyed the location, direct pool access and beach access. There is a gym across the street and easy access to grocery, snorkel rental and short drive to great restaurants. Roberta was amazing, we can't wait to return.

1st time in Hawaii
We loved the location! Loved the fact that you could access the beach through the pool area. There was also a foot wash and shower to get sand off before going to your room. The heated pool was really nice. There isn't a hot tub but the heat of the pool was perfect. Just hot enough to relax you. All the staff was nice and welcoming. Great for families. I was impressed with how the staff cleaned the BBQ's and pool every morning. Can't wait to go again!

this property so fantastic! it is so nice not to have to use an elevator and be on the ground floor. The unit is perfectly set up with everything you will need for your stay, including all soaps for dishwasher and wash machine. only on setback of the whole unit is the shower door is on so you have to manuver over the toilet to get in shower. if you are a little unsteady footed it made it difficult. Would rent from Chuck and Roberta anytime.

The building is well cared for and the pool area is very nice. The BBQ area and Tiki torches are excellent. The unit is clean and comfortable. The access to the pool from the unit is great. You have to take a short walk to the beach but it’s also nice and sandy. It has areas for snorkeling, surfing and a calmer area for swimming.

We were really taken away at how wonderful this place was. The perfect location for our family! We had friends staying at the Sands of Kahana right next door and it was SO nice just to be able to walk out to the beach right out from the condo. There is the coastal restoration going on directly in front of the resort but the beach opens up directly to the side maybe a 1 min walk and the restoration doesn’t hinder the beauty. We walked along the restoration area in the other direction with our morning coffee and saw several turtles. No bad days in Maui. We hit Costco and had everything we needed to BBQ and cook at the condo. The BBQs by the pool area were so cool! Perfect place to chill and swim and we LOVED how the condo opened right up to the pool area (plus the child proof gate for getting there - we’ve got littles). Thank you for sharing you piece of paradise with us, we will be back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kahana. Our only minor complaint is that the lighting is very dim and makes it difficult for reading. We do wish the fitness center opened earlier than 7am. Loved our condo, the facility, and its location.

Wonderful Stay
Was only able to book this condo for a 2 night stay...wish it was available for the whole duration of our trip. Spacious area and bed was so comfy. The central air was appreciated and spending the day lounging, listening to the waves and watching whales breech and spout off in the distance was so relaxing. It was just a short drive north of Lahaina with a coffee shop and the Maui Brewing Company (fyi excellent food!) within walking distance. We will definately stay again.

Nice place and comfortable
It was so nice to have a king bed!! These are not common in VRBO rentals. The closet had tons of room and the bathroom was clean. The living room was comfortable and had a nice view. Overall a nice place to stay. We liked seeing all the little lizards on the property. We never had trouble finding chairs outside but if you come back late at night parking can be hard to find a parking spot but we always found a spot. We had a few questions while we were there and Roberta was very quick to respond. I would recommend staying here.

A pleasant surprise?
Finally, a VRBO that exceeded our expectations. Pictures were all accurate, condo was clean, kitchen was nicely equipped. Nothing really to complain about. The condo location on the ground floor was great, an easy walk down to the pool level. No elevators to content with. Having a condo above us was initially a concern, but there was absolutely no noise from it. We would stay here again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on this trip. We were blown away by the condition of this condo. The host was extremely easy to contact and answered our calls immediately. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean and the resort pool. We felt safe here. The only thing we were lacking was an ironing board. I know most people don't iron on vacation but I am old school. There was an iron however and having a washing machine and dryer in the unit was a definite plus. Thank you so much Chuck and Roberta for sharing your beautiful place with us. We will be staying here again on any future trips. Mahalo

The only issue with the property is that we could not access the ocean from the property. Even though the information pointed out a potential issue it was unclear, and we thought we would have access to the water at this time of the year. I recommend getting confirmation that this issue has been corrected before booking.

The entire Kahana Bay is undergoing beach renourishment. There are 9 resort complexes affected by this major project. All complexes are affected by varying degrees. The home owner and and Royal Kahana have no control over whether there is beach access as these things are determine by the weather conditions and seasonal swells. The plan is to have the beach fully accessible in the near future but the time table is up to the local, state and environmental authorities. Regarding our listing, the listing does mention that the beach may not be accessible . We leave it open as to whether there will be beach access because the situation is fluid as we have learned over the past several months. There is beach access within a 5 min walk of the complex at the nearby park. In summary, all complexes along the Kahana Bay are affected to some degree so be sure to research the beach conditions if this is an essential part of booking a vacation home.

Warm welcoming Hawaiian feel
We felt so happy when we opened the door and saw the lights on (especially the tiny lights near the kitchen) welcoming us in. It is decorated so nicely and I loved the rattan furniture plus the lamps. My daughter and I stayed there for her 30th birthday. It was a great location and we had a wonderful time. They warned us that the beach might not be available in the winter. We were fine with that. We did have to drive down to other beaches, but it wasn't far. We didn't use the pool but other visitors did since it was heated.

We had a lovely vacation. The condo is beautiful and even provides boggie boards , beach towels, and straw beach mats for time on the beaches. A nice quiet location but close to activities in Lahiana. Close enough to the ocean that you can listen to it as you fall asleep.
