We had a wonderful stay at the Mahana at Kaanapali! The staff helped us plan accommodations for my disabled mother and it worked out perfectly. This was a bucket list trip for her and she had an amazing trip. Thank you to the staff member who went above and beyond to locate an item that I left behind upon checkout and who mailed it to me!

Honeymooners first time in Maui, we loved this hotel. In the touristy North-west section of Maui but right on the beach (beautiful sunsets), facility amenities were exactly what we were hoping for. Clean site and rooms, spacious room with full kitchen and living room and a washer/dryer in-unit. Concierge service was excellent at helping us book the tours/events we wanted despite short notice. Could have benefitted from more information about the facility at check-in, did not realize we had beach chairs available to us in the room until our last day and briefly locked out of our room due to a clerical error but minor issues and the latter was addressed timely. Would stay here again!

Oceanfront property with individually owned condos, so every unit is different. Very nice service, beautiful grounds with well maintained Weber gas grills, swimming pool and access to the beach boardwalk. Walking distance to Dukes and the Maui Craft Show. Unit came with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The kitchen wasn't adequately equipped, but was enough to make breakfast and simple meals. We definitely will be back.

Didn't get to really enjoy the property at all as we flew in late night on 08/06/2023. Was able to enjoy one day at the property on 08/07, between going into Lahaina to check out the sites. Enjoyed the beach, but never got to enjoy the property after the 7th due to the Maui fires. We were displaced outside of Lahaina and were not able to get back to the resort to retrieve our things. But from the one day we were there, it was nice, clean, great views, easy access to the beach & at check in was welcomed with a nice surprise of a room upgrade. Hope to visit again one day.

Loved everything about this place. The only thing that I was somewhat unhappy with was the cleanliness. My sheets seemed dirty. They had a yellow stain on them (gross). Also, I was having WiFi connectivity issues. Other than that, it was great and I would book again.

Lovely time at the resort. Ocean was amazing and the views were spectacular. I particularly enjoyed seeing a turtle every afternoon as he/she surfed the waves near shore.

I thought the two receptionist we encountered were kind, positive and attentitive to our needs. The views, the staff and the other guests were all excellent. The sound of the ocean right outside of our amazing 1bd suite was perfect. Maui was exactly what my wife and I wanted to experience for our vacation!

We loved it here! The view is absolutely breathtaking. They called to check on us a few hours after arriving to make sure we liked our room and to see if we needed anything. We were totally satisfied! Our boys also enjoyed the pool. We stayed on the 10th floor and we could see turtles swimming around from our balcony. The sounds of the ocean were wonderful as well. I can’t say enough great things. Thank you for making our first trip to Maui so memorable.❤️

We have never in 35 years of travel felt so peaceful and serene and never wanted leave our gorgeous view!!! We saw humpback whales, so many huge sea turtles, schools of fish and one day a blue shark minding its own business!!! The beach was accessible from the pool area and the ocean was clean and comfortable!!! Great hospitality of staff and Instacart delivered to our door!!! Ten stars ⭐️ and so grateful

The unit we got was on the 3rd floor. There was no noise renovation during our 6 days here. The furniture was a bit outdated and needs a good scrub. The ocean waves can be a bit noisy during the night if you leave the sliding door open. The sofa bed was very comfortable even with 2 adults. It is truly ocean front as advertised and the view was amazing that we can look past all other minor things. We even saw whales swam by in the living room windows. Also snorkeled right outside the beach and saw sea turtles. Wonderful place and will definitely consider staying here again.

The construction noise (Mon - Fri) was like sitting next to a jackhammer. We were called and told we would lose water for a couple of hours and got another call that talked about emergency evacuation of several floors of the property. We were also told that the construction had been going on for two years, with no end in sight. I'd avoid this property until the repairs are completed. The unit does have great ocean views, but it's too noisy to enjoy them.

Aloha Howard, I am so sorry to hear about your negative experience. Construction is scheduled during the day when most guests are out and about exploring the island. However, if you are spending your days on the property, the noise can be distracting. I spoke to the management team about the call to evacuate. She apologized and said it was an error. Mahana has been under renovation since the start of covid and the project is taking longer than expected. We hope once completed you will return to Maui and give us the opportunity to serve you again. Take care and be safe.

I wanted to love our stay here but there were some obvious downsides. The spa was broken during our 3 nights and our room itself (aside from the incredible view) wasn’t spectacular. I would probably pick a different place next time I visit the island.
